Teddy is being brave at the opticians

Today I did something brave... I went to the optician!

I'll be honest, I was a little nervous at first.

There were lots of strange machines, bright lights, and the optician kept asking me things like:

"Can you read the bottom line?"

Which was a bit unfair because it was mostly letters and not biscuits.

But everyone was very kind, and before I knew it, the check-up was finished!

Sometimes being brave doesn't mean you're not nervous. It just means you do the thing anyway.

A special message for little humans (and grown-ups) who feel worried about visiting the optician...

If you have a favourite teddy or cuddly friend and you're feeling nervous about an eye test, send us a photo of your bear!

Teddy will invite them to join his Brave Bears at the Optician Club, and we'll reply with an image of your bear being brave at the optician too.

Because sometimes seeing our teddy be brave helps us be brave as well.

Who knows... your bear might even get a sticker for being extra brave!
